About Villa Des Indes

Villa Des Indes was named after a famous colonial hotel in Jakarta. The three-bedroom property appears to float on a moat, bordered on one side by a koi pond and on the other three sides by an enticing 21-metre meandering swimming pool. The central focus is the splendid living and dining pavilion; an antique joglo house that once belonged to a Javanese nobleman. This magnificent wooden structure, sophisticatedly constructed without the use of any metallic nails or bolts, features ornate hand carvings and robust columns. The bedrooms are housed in three colonial-style bungalows boasting verandahs, period furniture and wood-panelled walls. Guests can look forward to an eclectic journey through time with a fascinating collection of museum quality, Indonesian antiques, curios and artwork.
